Blood tests
We provide blood testing service from the Practice - you will no longer be able to attend the hospital for any blood test requested by your GP (unless we have not been able to get your blood)
We employ two nursing assistants who provide services including phlebotomy (blood testing) on a daily basis. The doctor will decide what is an appropriate length of time to wait and this will be indicated to the reception staff who will book a suitable appointment.
Non-NHS services
The NHS does not pay for some of the services we provide. These include private sick notes, insurance forms, holiday cancellation forms, medical reports, fitness to travel certificates, private prescriptions and some vaccination services. Our fees for these services, which are in line with BMA approved national guidelines, are displayed in the surgery.
